dripstop® anti condensation liner

Without Dripstop®, condensation forms when there are large temperature differences, often during the transition from day to night. Extremely thin, but with a strong water absorption capacity and excellent properties, Dripstop® keeps condensation safely under control. High air permeability ensures water evaporates completely with rising daytime temperatures and optimal roof ventilation. And it does all this without any chemicals. This advanced condensation control flock liner membrane efficiently controls condensation that drips from uninsulated metal roofs. Significant temperature and humidity fluctuations (such as between day and night or indoors and outdoors) lead to condensation forming on the underside of uninsulated roofs, with high humidity exacerbating the issue. This can result in severe consequences, including corrosion or harm to the building structure, stored items, and furnishings, as well as adverse effects on humans and animals due to dampness, mould, and mildew. We can supply coated single skin cladded sheets with anti condensation liner. Please be aware that as a primed finish is required to adhere the liner to cladding sheets whilst roll forming it is not possible to add Dripstop® liner to galvanised cladding. If you are interested in Dripstop® liner please contact us to discuss this option further.

your benefits

This powerful condensation control membrane improves interior acoustics, reduces rain noise by up to 2dB and provides even, natural light reflection.

Dripstop® can be trusted to protect buildings and stored goods from damage caused by the formation of condensation on the internal face of a metal roof.

Because Dripstop® works without the use of chemicals it retains its full effectiveness throughout the lifespan of your metal roof

Pooled condensation can lead to corrosion. Dripstop® effectively prevents this. The anti-condensation membrane is also resistant to and prevents the formation of bacteria and mould.

technical information

materials
  • High-tech non-woven membrane made up of PES fibres

  • Synthetic rubber glue

  • No diminishing agents

properties
  • Bacteria resistance tested by institute

  • Corrosion resistance tested by institute

  • Safe to use with most chemicals

  • Tear and mechanical wear resistant

  • Water absorption capacity up to 1,000 g/m2

  • Sound insulation up to 2 dB ISO 140-18

  • Combustibility up to A2 - s1, d0 (EN 13501-1) (applied on metal roof)

constraints
  • Can be applied to coated steel and aluminum profiled cladding sheets (not mill finish aluminium or galvanised steel)

  • For optimum performance it is necessary to allow the membrane to dry during the day. Make sure that the building guarantees good ventilation at the ridge and gutter.

  • Minimum recommended roof pitch 10°

  • No UV rays on fleece: The edge of the roof with Dripstop® needs to be protected from UV light.

  • Temperature range: -40°C~+80°C
